General Enrolment Information

At Albany Creek State School we take pleasure in welcoming new families into our school community. Our school community is proud of its achievements to provide a caring, supportive and challenging learning environment for all students.

Together, with members of our school community, we are committed to providing quality curriculum programs to meet the needs of all students. Our students have access to the latest learning technologies. Interactive whiteboards or touch boards are installed in each of our air conditioned classrooms.

We place great importance on the sharing of information that happens during face to face enrolment interviews for each and every new family and their children who wish to enrol at our school. Having an enrolment interview ahead of time can ensure that the school can plan well ahead to best meet an individual student’s needs and to ensure that the necessary staffing and infrastructure is in place.

Albany Creek State School recognises as its prime obligation, the provision of access to an appropriate educational service for students whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area.
